I just watched a wonderful movie, titled “A Rumor of Angels” starring Vanessa Redgrave and Ray Liotta. I had never heard of this movie before today, when I saw it on the rack at Blockbuster.
It’s a story of a 12 year old boy James, who lost his mother when he was younger, and never came to terms with her loss. Ray Liotta plays his Dad, who is on the road most of the time, and re-married to another woman whom James does not get along with.
James meets up with “Maddy” (Redgrave) an ecentric “crazy” lady on the island that he lives on.
Maddy’s son died in the war, but she recieved messages from him, which she wrote in a book, which she shares with James.
I don’t want to give away too much of the story, but I recommend this movie very highly. It’s 100% about this subject, of life after death, after death communication, belief and non-belief, and communicating love here and now, before it’s too late.
The ending had me in tears. Rent or watch this movie if you have the opportunity. You won’t be disappointed :)November 29, 2002 at 11:42 pm #82873solanaParticipant
