Just a quick “HEADS UP” everyone!!! Another JE Audio/Video set has just been listed on E-BAY. It has six days before the auction ends.
Frankly, the last auction closed a $492.00. For that money I can take the Long Island Railroad to John’s office and get a private reading!!! LOL
Good Luck Everyone!!

Thank you Theresa :D
Atta girl!! Although I would pay alot for the set, I can’t afford the nearly 500.00 the last one went for. :(
going to bid anyhow!October 25, 2001 at 9:30 pm #72139Santamaria10169Participant
Does anyone have the audio/video collection?
If so, how is it?
Whenever it does show up on E-bay, I always get outbid. Last one I saw went for $338. There’s one on their now, it’s at least $200. I wish I had the money to “blow” on it, but I’m not made of money.

The last auction for these items closed at $208.50. Still a bit pricey, but I bet it will be a collector’s item now.November 2, 2001 at 11:24 pm #72602
Nope they were all bought up by private dealers and then sold on the net via eBay and other online auctions.
There’s another set on eBay at the moment, for 49.99. Now the ‘buy now’ price is set at 450.00 which (sorry John, I love ya, but…) is way too high, for me anyway.
(I have the set, but I paid a sinfully low price for it last November. I’ll never part with mine tho!)
Maybe you could email the owner and ask if they have a second set and see if they can bargain for a better, non-auction price?November 3, 2001 at 1:20 am #72605JeanParticipant
>>>Maybe you could email the owner and ask if they have a second set and see if they can bargain for a better, non-auction price? <<< from Pam. Pam, I think the rules of e-bay forbid contacting sellers for off e-bay purchases. I don’t know if this is a hard and fast rule, but it is recommended because there is no protection for the buyer if it doesn’t go through e-bay. Someone else might know more about this. Pam was suggesting they may have a “second set” which implies that it’s not up for auction and therefore, I’d think, e-bay has no say in it. Well, maybe a little. They may look at it as using them as a mechanism to send someone unsolicited email. Still, one can hardly believe that a seller would mind an inquiry related to something they could very well want to sell.November 3, 2001 at 3:05 am #72611
I would think that it would be ok, because the seller will have an opportunity to say “no, but I have another set that I’m going to auction” or something to that effect?
Either way, I would never encourage someone to go against those rules, which are set for a good reason!November 3, 2001 at 8:46 pm #72651BBsBlissParticipant
:o well, I bid on it just now (sorry, Tammy… I had to at least try), and I went to $150 but it says the reserve has not been met. So for anyone jumping in, just know the seller’s going higher than that… I’m not! Good luck!November 4, 2001 at 12:55 am #72677Santamaria10169Participant
I just got the set in the mail today. Wow, it was pretty intense. I like it a lot. I haven’t listened to the audio tapes. It would be nice if John could re-release it so everyone can have the opportunity to do it.
It was well worth the money spent. I got lucky and someone offered to sell it to me before they put it on Ebay.November 4, 2001 at 12:59 am #72678PsyQuestorParticipant
Don’t worry about it, and thanks for the information ;) I couldn’t stand seeing it sit there without even one bid, so I placed one :lwink: I know from past scenarios that it’s probably going to go for at least three hundred or more.
This little JE habit of mine is really getting expensive! I can’t afford those prices. Can you say price gouging? Ouch!!
BTW the tape I bought ( some of you know which one ) was not worth twenty bucks. It’s a copy of a copy of a copy :( The quality is still ‘ok’ but i was expecting better.
