Keep working at it Robert, medicine is not a perfect science either, that’s they call it “practicing”. You’ve proven them all wrong by coming this far, now prove them all wrong again. Keep up the good skeptical work. I support your work totally for a number of reasons. Mainly because I believe in freedom of thought, belief and speech, and mostly because
Quote:I believe you set a good example for skeptics, in your respectful approach, always factual in word and deed. Thanks, you’re very kind.

October 3, 2009 at 7:08 pm #123396PsyQuestorParticipantPrayers going out for Bob from Michigan.
Lord, hear our prayers ~
My memories of Bob are extra special. As an artist I connected with his love of playing cards. There is a special kind of deck that he collects and he was busy working on designing a deck of his own. The cards are exceptional, much like Bob himself.
–I just finished reading the rest of the thread and see Robert posting updates. I’m so very glad that you are making it through and that you are improving. I know you don’t care much for blind faith, but I say prayers for you to comfort myself and let you know that I care. You are an amazing person and I wish nothing but the best for you.
Hugs always, your friend

Heya, Tammy! Thanks foor the kind words! I have yet to finishthat deck of cards, but it’s nice that you remember it! As I have posted before: I may not believe in the efficacy of prayer, but I still appreciate those who pray fr me. while you’re at it, please pray for the “o” key on my keyboard, which is giving out. Thanks again,

January 18, 2010 at 5:01 am #123564RSLancastrParticipantHello again, all! A small but significant sign of progress: As I mentioned above, my left hand has been frozen in a sort-of fist ever since the stroke. This evening, for the first time in more than a year, I am able to open my left pinky almost all the way!
As small as this may seem, it is an indication that my brain is finally learning how to reroute the “open” signal so that it can reach the finger! This renews hope that I will recover the use of that hand in time!
January 18, 2010 at 2:14 pm #123565CarolynBModeratorWooooooo Hooooooooo! That’s awesome, Robert! Prayers continuing!
