This is a quote from John Holland’s new book, “101 Ways to Jump-Start Your Intuition”. It sounds like an easy experiment.
Clear Seeing John Holland brings this new Intuition Tip to you.

Intuition is just a reminder of the power of the human spirit.

Some people have the intuitive ability known as clear seeing (clairvoyance). It’s when intuitive information forms pictures, symbols, words, and colors in your mind’s eye. The reception area is right between your eyebrows. One way to develop this ability, simply place a candle safely in front of you, relax, take some deep breaths, and gaze at the flame for a few minutes. Close your eyes and observe the afterimage. Let it fade, and do the exercise again to strengthen your third-eye area. Take your time and do this a few times this week.
Blessings – John

Has anyone tried this yet and if so, did you get any good results?April 22, 2007 at 3:20 am #117365
I’m interested in hearing if anyone has tried this. I was thinking of trying it and wanted to know what other’s had experienced.April 22, 2007 at 3:45 am #117366
I have tried this exercise but only a few times. Give it a try several times over a few weeks and see how it works for you.
The thing I’ve found about clairvoyance is how subtle it can be. Maybe others can come up with a better example but try this…Imagine what your car looks like. See how it comes up in your mind. That is how symbols, colors, pictures, etc look clairvoyantly. Maybe its different for different people. But that’s how it is for me.
The only catch is realizing when the image is coming to me and not from me. That is getting easier to figure out because I’m paying attention more. Sometimes the images are a little “stronger” or more vivid than others but not necessarily.
Hope this helps. Good luck!April 22, 2007 at 10:39 am #117361
I have done this excersize and I’ve found it very helpful, because I don’t naturally get things visually, but in other ways.
I think it’s important that each person do this excercize and evaluate their own results, but I think it’s also important to note that this is just ONE excersize or practice that would be just one part of a whole routine.
In other words, you shouldn’t just practice this one and expect to develop clairvoyance, or become discouraged if you don’t start seeing visions.April 22, 2007 at 3:02 pm #117373
