:wave:I would appreciate your continued prayers … I had another fine needle aspiration biopsy of my right parotid – this time in the pathologist’s office to be sure tissues were extracted. The good news is the preliminary results indicate no cancer cells. The unexpected news is that there were also no lymph cells (the theory was that a lymph node was inflamed). The no news is there were other cells that the pathologist didn’t immediately recognize. I should have more on that on Monday. In the meantime my ANA titer went down from 1:1200 to 1:180, so while my immune system is still fired up, it’s not as concerning. Thanks for all your prayers on my behalf. :hearts:

Prayers, angel blessings, and healing white light going out for you! I hope you are feeling well. Please keep us posted. :daisy: :hearts: :daisy:May 12, 2009 at 11:37 pm #123121CarolynBModerator:hearts:Thanks for your prayers! Still haven’t heard on the final biopsy results, so I’m calling my ENT tomorrow. The delay is making me nuts, LOL. I’ll keep you posted and thanks again for your prayers. :hearts:
May 13, 2009 at 11:43 pm #123124CarolynBModerator:hearts:Latest update … still haven’t heard from the ENT – but he also didn’t get the report until yesterday afternoon at 2. The pathologist had thought she would be sending the report first thing Monday morning, so either it’s Mercury Rx doing his thing or the mystery cells were tougher to identify than she thought they would be.
May 14, 2009 at 2:30 am #123125chassiewesParticipantLet’s blame Mercury, Carolyn. Grrrrr!:cuss::cuss: Hang in there. Hit your local bar. Have a drink on me. Things will be fine.

May 20, 2009 at 11:57 pm #123134CarolynBModeratorSo the “no news” continues to be “no news” … the results of the biopsy were, once again, inconclusive. When I see him again in a month he’ll review my options. Thanks for your continued prayers. :hearts:
May 21, 2009 at 3:08 am #123135chassiewesParticipantLet’s put on some rose-colored glasses, Carolyn, and consider this a “no news is good news” news. Again, go celebrate. Whoop it up a bit. And keep us posted. Prayers will continue. What the heck, couldn’t hurt. Hang in there.
