I am so irritated! I had been taping Crossing Over on my UPN Channel at 1:00 pm. Well, it’s been replaced by Judge Joe Brown and I can’t find it anywhere! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Once again, no warning. Just turned on the tape and it wasn’t what it was supposed to be.

There has to be a lot of shows that have been taped that we haven’t seen. Do you think they will run them on SciFi? Is the SciFi channel still running Crossing Over? This is very frustrating.

    :(

Arrrggghhh! I’d be irritated, too. Yes, SciFi is still running COWJE (at 1am ET) on a delay of about 3 weeks from the daytime episodes. I don’t know if the Powers that Be at the UPN station that is currently broadcasting is under the impression that since COWJE was cancelled that there would be no new episodes after February sweeps – I find it hard to believe that they could just walk away from their current contract to broadcast w/o Universal’s approval.

I just realized that you’re from Pennsylvania – where? I know the Erie station is still broadcasting COWJE (it’s an NBC affiliate). As far as I know COWJE is broadcasting in all three markets I get – Erie, PA (2 episodes daily); Buffalo, NY (2 episodes daily); and Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (1 episode daily).

    Tanner,
There have been a lot of shows that were taped that haven’t aired yet. Sci0Fi is still running CO but I’ll bet you can find CO on one of your local brodcast stations. They probably moved it to 1am or something insane like that.
    Hope this helps

I guess the most irritating thing is that they change it with no warning. Then I have to go through the TV guide all hours to try and find it. I think I found it on CBS at 2:35 a.m. I think it’s CBS. Anyway, how crazy is 2:35 a.m. Plus, I get it all figured out and turn on my tape and it’s been moved again. NO WONDER IT DIDN’T GET GOOD RATINGS!!!!

Carolyn — I’m in South Central PA near Gettysburg.

Tanner – the crossingoverwithJohnEdward website (a site owned and managed by Universal) is still showing that the UPN station is carrying COWJE in your area at noon. Which doesn’t really surprise me at all. When COWJE changed times/stations in the fall, it was weeks before they had the correct listings for COWJE in my 2 American markets – and of course they can’t be bothered to list where it’s showing in the Canadian markets. That’s actually the market I was able to figure out first as to which station it had changed to and what the time was. I only accidentally found out about the Erie and Buffalo changes.

That’s the same website that is STILL indicating that you can call in for gallery tickets on the first Saturday of the month at the 800 number.:(

Hmmmm. Maybe they moved it back to noon. I’ll check the TV guide tonight. It had been noon, then they moved it to 1:00. Who knows… I thought I looked closely, but maybe the bifocals are playing tricks on me. It’s a shame it has to be this hard.

Hmmm. My guess is that actually they never changed it on the website from noon to 1.:( Because, ya know, no one watches COWJE anyway:rolleyes: .

This is exactly one of the reasons we suspect ratings went down. This situation is typical!

Tanner, the easiest way to find out of CO was simply moved to another slot is to search at TVGUIDE.xom. You can select your cable or dish, or broadcast information for your area and just do a search on “crossing over john edward” and it will bring up when the slot is. It’s easier than trying to browse the print version.

Hope this helps! You can also call your UPN station and COMPLAIN….

Well, I checked the actual UPN Channel program line up. We go from Ricki Lake, to Jerry Springer, to Judge Joe Brown, to Divorce Court. Sad.

Quality programming daytime tv is…NOT! That’s why my tv stays on Nickelodeon or PBS all day :D .

Try WHP 21 (Harrisburg) – you should be close enough that you can get that one. No? I know all of the cable companies run different, but you are certainly in their area I would think.

I tape from 9-9:30 A.M. and as of yesterday that was a good time still.

Carolyn will appreciate this. In the fall, when the Erie market switched CO from the CBS channel to the NBC..I was upset. I emailed the CBS station here in the city, and they responded back within five minutes saying how sorry they were about the move, but that I could find it on the NBC.

Then CO had started to promote that the new season was going to start on a certain Monday. I was all excited, and since I work, I taped the episode. I was sooooooo disappointed that it didn’t air. I wrote another nasty email to NBC about how they promoted CO for the past week, and then never delievered. I got another email back prolly an hour later, appologizing for the false advertisment, but that the new episodes weren’t ready on that Monday for some reason or another.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but emailing at least works in this market. I get my answers pretty fast around here. After the new season started to air, I did write another email thanking NBC for putting COWJE back on the air and in a stable time slot.

And, actually, Stephanie, the CO episodes now airing on the Erie station are a day behind! I usually tape the Buffalo episodes because they’re back to back (while Erie is on with the “second” episode at 10:30 am and the “first” episode on at 12:30 pm). But one day last week I had to go home at lunch and I flipped on CO on the Erie station and it was the episode shown in Buffalo on the previous day!

… now for those of you who actually followed that, give yourself a star :star:

… perhaps two stars! :star: :star:

Deb, I looked it up at TVGUIDE based on your zip code, and emailed you the results for broadcast and cable. Let me know if you don’t get that mail, or whether or not the listings I sent you were accurate.
