WE Channel did a sneak preview of the first episode of Cross Country last night at 3:00am.
I admit I was aprehensive about watching it, afraid I would be disappointed. I was in no way disappointed.
John’s readings were so acurate and factual it was awesome.
As usual with John you go from tears to laughter and back to tears again.
Yes, I’m dying to tell you all more detail but I won’t. I won’t, I won’t. :cuss:
Just try it, You’ll like it!!:DMarch 17, 2006 at 2:23 pm #95620
I’ve seen bits of the show on this website and the WE website and the show does look great. Yes John can make someone laugh after they have been in tears. Enjoy the show everyone

i sat with my digital progammer in hand last night and saw that it came on @ 3 am. Now it is very common for me to be up at that hour because I can not sleep at night because my husband travels and I can not sleep when he is not here. But for my sanity, I knew it was best that I sleep instead of watching TV and wait and watch it tonight with him when he comes home. That was the hardest decision I have made all week long. But i set my reminder for 10pm tonight, like i’m going to somehow magically forget!!March 17, 2006 at 9:39 pm #98937
I have my DV set, so that it gets recorded to the digital box. It’s also connected to my computer, so maybe I will be able to recreate some highlites for those who can’t get WE, and reproduce them here. But shhh, it’s probably not “permissable”. I’ll have to be careful.:redface3:March 17, 2006 at 9:41 pm #98928

FYI – I’m on the west coast so I checked and the show is on WE at 7 PT, which is what I expected. However, I also saw on the guide that there is another show(or a repeat?), at 8 PT. So make sure you check the time!March 18, 2006 at 4:19 am #98896
The first show was excellent.
I love the fact that John extends himself by visiting the families to do a follow up.
I truly hope that this show is what people need to help themselves work through their grief.
There was at least two ‘me too’s’ for me tonight.
One had to do with the number 2 and the other had to do with suicide. Today marks the 11th anniversary of my brother-in-laws passing. Tomorrow is his birthday. :candle::candle:

…a lot more ‘whole’ in terms of follow through, which I know all of us love! I always like seeing John with families and groups in a casual way. I think the show will probably ‘tighten up’ as it goes along but I loved that camara man!:hearts: :clap:March 18, 2006 at 3:04 pm #97756

John can easily connect with the other side…but did you notice he had problems connecting with his cell phone? :)March 18, 2006 at 4:05 pm #97759
Alas…the stars did not align just right for me last night :( and I wasn’t able to watch..nor record.
Thank you guys for your posts about the show. I’m at work and reading about it is a bright spot. :hearts: It sounds terrific!
