Pam, I am going to assume that when the board was updated last night you added the quotes to the top of each ‘page’. Thanks for that. I love reading them. Nice job.

This is my favorite quote, by Dr. Carl Jung. – Art
“What happens after death is so unspeakably glorious that our imaginations and our feelings do not suffice to form even an approximate conception of it.” – Carl JungMarch 12, 2002 at 12:59 am #72405

I also love the quotes and notice they keep changing during the day.:) How many different ones come up in a 24 hour time span? Is this another enticement for us to keep coming back during the day? (As if I needed another one):D

Every time the page re-loads, you’ll get a different quote, randomly.
Is this another inticement for us to keep coming back during the day?
Hehehe! No, it’s an inticement to be inspired :)March 12, 2002 at 2:07 pm #72260
Being with my friends always inspires me!
Great job Pam. :star: I just sit here and watch them go by, just lovin’ it. If I start doing this too much though….work may suffer….
Oh so be it. I’d rather have the inspiration.

You know how in near death experiences they talk about “the silver cord?” I was reading in a NDE website and I came across this quote from the old testament. I think it is neat that the bible gives confirmation of what happens in a near death experience.
Here is the quote:
“Remember him, before the silver cord is severed … and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” – Book of Ecclesiastes 12:6-7March 15, 2002 at 10:40 pm #70210
Remember Kahil Gibran?
Cool quotes here. O.K…. a little profound, but worth a read.March 16, 2002 at 3:01 am #70329
Thank you for using my favorite quote at the top of the page. I came to the board and there it was! I don’t know why but seeing it there gave me a really good feeling. By the way, that quote from Ecclesiastes that I posted was written about 3,000 years ago by Solomon; supposedly a very smart fellow. It is amazing to me that they knew about near death experiences three thousand years ago. There is a verse in II Corinthians where the Apostle Paul mentions that he had a near death experience. His description is almost exactly the same as what people who have had a NDE talk about. – ArtMarch 16, 2002 at 3:08 am #68210
Hi Art, you say 3000 years ago. What if we all living in the same time, they are only in a different realm. I am a little crazy today, sorry.
Since there is no time there. Just a thought.
