This is my favorite quote, by Dr. Carl Jung. – Art“What happens after death is so unspeakably glorious that our imaginations and our feelings do not suffice to form even an approximate conception of it.” – Carl Jung
This is so beautiful. It will now become my favorite quote also. Thanks for sharing. I will start to attached it to my e-mails as a signature line.

Tashi,
Thank you so much for your encouragement. This quote really affected me also when I first read it. I sent it to my sister in Georgia and she shared it with the minister of their church. I wonder what he thought of it. Dr. Jung was all ready one of my wife’s favorite people. What it amazing to me is that all the different “metaphysical phenomena” concerning what happens to us after death – such as NDE, mediums, death-bed visions, and mystical experiences all work together to give us such a confirming message that our lives are not a fluke of the Universe and that our lives have meaning. Each one says to me that our lives are not in vain. Thank you again. – ArtMarch 21, 2002 at 2:17 pm #69058Pam,
As I mentioned to you in last Sunday’s chat, I love the addition of the daily quotes. They’re very inspirational and like little gifts from you. Please keep them coming!
Here is one of my favorites:
WHATEVER OUR SOULS ARE MADE OF…YOURS AND MINE ARE THE SAME…

March 21, 2002 at 9:59 pm #68715I don’t know if this counts as a quote or not or not but it is a “quote” from my favorite song by Alison Kraus (my favorite singer/musician). The name of the song is “There must be a reason for it all.” I really like the last stanza of the song. – Art
“In all the things that cause me pain You give me eyes to see
I do believe by help my unbelief
I’ve seen hard times and I’ve been told
There must be a reason for it all.”Off the “So Long So Wrong” CD, Alison Kraus and Union Station
March 21, 2002 at 11:41 pm #71757whoops! I accidentally copied it wrong. Here is the corrected verse. – Art
“In all the things that cause me pain You give me eyes to see
I do believe but help my unbelief
I’ve seen hard times and I’ve been told
There must be a reason for it all.”March 22, 2002 at 11:41 pm #68379PAM: If the quotes are random, how come I always get the ones I need when I browse this site? No coincidence, no doubt.
If you are going to create more light for our world, you must be willing to endure a little heat.
– Frank Kawaikapuokalani ‘Kuma’ Hewett, a Hawaiian Kahuna author of ‘The Sacred Waters’This one really hit home today.
Then in the posts the Carl Jung quote:
“What happens after death is so unspeakably glorious that our imaginations and our feelings do not suffice to form even an approximate conception of it.” – Carl Jung
I love it.
And then at the top of this reply site:
In the heroic organizations, people mentor each other unselfishly.
That has to be about you, Pam… and this wonderful site.
((((PAM)))) ((((HUGS))))) Thank you so much for all you do.
Love, light, and peace,
POOHI’m editing this because I went to another thread and came across this quote:
It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.
– Ralph Waldo EmersonThese are so awesome Pam!
March 23, 2002 at 1:47 am #68352Thank you Wyn, I am so very happy that you, and others are finding inspiration in the quotes. Yes, they are definately random…at least the technology is, and if you keep getting the same quote over and over again, I’d suspect there’s some other forces possibly involved ;)
I’ve pulled them from some favorite books, and did some searching of special websites to find “just the right ones” :)
I’m really glad you’re enjoying them :)
March 23, 2002 at 1:55 am #68336“The Fairest thing we can Experience is the Mysterious” Albert Einstein. “Every exit is an entry somewhere else” Tom Stoppard. These quotes were on the website for a bookclub that I belong to. :) Kim
March 23, 2002 at 7:28 am #68311Ok, sadly enough I have no profound words to add here. Obviously, Koala Kim got all the smart genes when they were passing them out to Kims……I just had to say that the quote about leaving buttprints in the sand cracked me up!!! :lwink:
Kim
P.S. Hi Koala Kim
March 23, 2002 at 10:43 pm #68408Hi kimk! I also like the buttprints quote, it is really funny. The website for the bookclub that I belong to has some good quotes on it. It is a bookclub that has a lot of books for the body, spirit and mind. Have a great day kimk! :D Kim
