Don’t forget to give me dates in the past, and please don’t forget to “bottom line it for the layperson”. The planet and astro terminology is confusing me to the point that I don’t know what the real message is! (sorry it’s my ADD)April 14, 2007 at 6:14 pm #117802
For those of you wondering why I was looking at May 27/28 even though it means an opposition between T Mercury and N Mercury, I like Mercury in Gemini in the 3rd house sextile (natal) Uranus in Virgo with T Saturn approaching a Conjunction to Uranus (to give discipline and order to the project … help it stay on track).
Mercury rules communication and electronics and Uranus rules television and electronics … so a sextile (soft aspect = good energy; sextiles represent opportunities) means that Mercury and Uranus will be working in harmony and to good effect for John. T refers to the transiting planet (where the planet will be on the day we’re talking about, in this case May 27/28) and N refers to the natal planet (where the planet was when John was born). Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini, so when Mercury is in Gemini and making a sextile to a planet in Virgo, its energy is bolstered by being in a sign that it rules and sending energy to a planet in a sign that it rules AND Mercury rules the 3rd house and the 6th house so it’s both in a house AND a sign that it rules and sending energy to a sign and house that it rules.
I did note that T Mercury will be in opposition (hard aspect = tension) to N Mercury, but IMO, in television there is always a certain amount of tension in communicating the message and given T Mercury’s more comfortable placement in Gemini/3rd, I don’t believe the tension will be too difficult to overcome.April 14, 2007 at 6:18 pm #117803

Sorry, Pam! :hearts: I’m not sure I know how to bottom line it for the layperson….if I could I would be Maria!:laff2: I’m so happy if and when I get the terminology right! OK – back to the drawing board and dates in the past….would have to be Feb 23 I think….more laterApril 14, 2007 at 6:21 pm #117804
Beth you said …
OK – back to the drawing board and dates in the past….would have to be Feb 23 I think….more later
Good … I had put that date in a post too (but for the Mercury Rx of course, lol). I also said December 30, but didn’t say why, so I’ll go back and look at December 30 while you tackle Feb 23.April 14, 2007 at 6:25 pm #117805
Carolyn, I was thinking Dec 07 with the Jupiter and Pluto transits. Are you looking at 06 or 07? Do you see any other dates going back 6 months?
And I agree with you, the arcs and progressions would help us a lot here, but we haven’t learned that yet!April 14, 2007 at 7:09 pm #117806
Yes, Beth, I think I’ll back up in December a bit … now that I look at Dec 30, 2006 again, I see a lot of that transit energy is Separating from the natal energy, rather than approaching, so … I’ll take a peek at earlier in December 2006, as you suggest. Separating energy means that the transiting planets are moving away from the natal planets, so the energy of the transiting planets is weakening as it moves away. Approaching or applying transiting planets mean that the energy being sent by the transiting planet is getting stronger.April 14, 2007 at 8:15 pm #117808
Thanks for bringing it down a notch or two.. heck even I get what you’re talking about.. Dont ask me to be able to find it on my own though.

You are making these awesome astrology students go nuts here;)
As far as predictive work goes, they have only yet studied one of the tools of prediction which is transits. Transits act as external triggers of events and life developments and they are VERY important, however to make specific predictions, you cannot use transits alone.
There are other predictive measures such as Progressions and/or Solar Arcs to take into account and to give JH projections about best times in the future months to take advantage of something as big as a TV opportunity, he would want to know the full picture. The arcs and progressions highlight the “main event” being possible while the background transits support the timing of when it will occur.
Now, are you going to keep these poor people in suspense for much longer???
A couple months back, I exchanged short emails with JH where I thanked him for the HH opportunity. As I emailed him, I glanced at his chart and noticed that on March 8th, transiting Mars (remember Mars is a trigger for action!) was going to be aligned with his natal Jupiter in the 11th (media). Jupiter rules his 9th (publishing, advertising, long distance travel etc…).
I simply mentioned to him that he might want to circle that date in red on his calendar because I saw a major opportunity coming his way around that time – possibly having to do with any of those areas.
He replied with a “thank you” and “I’ll let you know what happens”. Well, I never personally heard back from him again but he did ask Pam to pass on a message to me.
I’ll let her explain the details.:DApril 15, 2007 at 12:47 pm #117821
Hmmm, and I had kind of ruled out March 8 because that’s the day Mercury(electronics/communication) went Direct … LOL … thanks for letting us off the hook …
So now I have a question … generally we’re told to avoid initiating the planetary-ruled stuff on days planets go Direct … is it because Mercury, being a fast-moving planet, it’s less of a problem because it doesn’t stay stationary for very long before moving forward again? Or is it simply that the Mars transit of Jupiter was just too powerful to ignore, particularly given that Mars rules his ASC?April 15, 2007 at 12:52 pm #117822
Oooops heehee nothing more to tell — you all know as much as I do! The ‘call’ that came in to him about this “filming” thing that he’s been talking about on his show, came to him on March 8th! He said it is not a show ABOUT him, but that they did use him and his ability. He couldn’t tell me any more at this point!
(this is the place where we all bow down to Maria for her amazing and magical astrological knowledge and ability and give thanks that she is available to us as a teacher!)
Sorry for my lack in understanding in the process!!!:cuss:
When I’m rich and famous and don’t have to a work full time job, I will take the beginner’s class again, and go on from there!
But I DID make you all think about astrology for a couple of days and got those creative juices running! :laff: :chatter:April 15, 2007 at 1:00 pm #117823
Hehehehe… Hey at least you proved what we already know and that is MARIA ROCKS. I am hoping to continue my little astrology stuff as well Pam.. hmmm maybe I should go back to the beginning and start over. Of course just because this show isnt about John it doesnt mean the next one wont be, and the next and the next……
PaulaApril 15, 2007 at 1:13 pm #117824
Okay… you can forget my question … didn’t have any caffeine in me yet … if he got the CALL on the 8th … didn’t do the filming …, then the ony worry would be that he would misunderstand the CALL, lol … :D or the phones were staticky or something…April 15, 2007 at 2:27 pm #117825

Stationary planets are POWERFUL days. Let’s say for example that Venus has been retrograde for several months and as you know, this is NOT the ideal time to begin a new romance, particularly if you or your love interest is ruled by Venus (Taurus or Libra Sun or Asc.) Now, having said that, on the days when Venus is stationing direct, meaning it has just turned direct and the few days following when it is still at the exact degree of being stationary direct, THOSE days are actually sooooo powerful that you may actually end up marrying someone you begin a romantic relationshp with on those days (depending on what else is cooking in the charts of course!).
Stationary planets are major because of the basic rule of inertia. When a planet has been moving in one direction and then goes STOP (that is stationary) and then moves either backward of forward, you want to take notice of those days as potentially meaningful for you if they happen to contact YOUR chart in a meaningful way.
On March 8th, Mercury went direct at 25 degrees Aquarius. It did make a tight sextile to his natal Mars in the 9th (and yes, as you aptly pointed out since Mars rules his Asc. a Mars transit is major for him!).
The concommitant transit of Mars to his natal Jupiter provided the real impetus for my prediction though since it was providing the “timing” you look for behind major transits like he had with Pluto to his Sun. Surrounding this time period he also had powerful Solar Arc Neptune=Sun which for a psychic spells BIG news. It speaks of his work (Sun rules his 6th) taking a more spiritual, imaginative, Neptunian direction – in a behind the scenes way (Neptune rules his 12th).
Arcs are the BIG bells and Transits are the “Ready, set, go” indicators. :D
Mars transits for anyone will speak of action but for someone ruled by Mars, you can pretty much see it as a safe bet.
Too bad JH didn’t email me himself to tell me…I would have asked him to be a guest on his show so we could talk more about it. ;)
Best of success to him – whatever the “mystery” show is. LOLApril 15, 2007 at 6:06 pm #117835
Ohhhh… okay, that makes sense … by the same token if the stationary planet is making a more stressful aspect to the natal … THEN it might be a good time to wait, LOL. Duh … don’t know why I thought staying put on stationary days was the way to go, lol. Thanks, Maria!
