Hi everybody, today I need your help. I had this really strang dream two nights ago and maybe somebody knows what that means.
I was walking along a lake and there were beautiful white swans. They were swimming around and I loved looking at them. I stepped closer to the lake and then I saw all these dead white swans in the water, just floating by me. I was really in shock in my dream and that woke me up….
Does that mean something bad now ???
thanx and many blessings

oooo..Interesting dream! Do swans represent something to you personally? Do they remind you of something or someone?January 29, 2007 at 9:00 pm #115643
Hi Sandra Kay … we like to have people try and interpret their own dreams first … what represents one thing to me might represent something totally different for you. In addition to the swan question Laura asked, I’d want to know what you think of when you see white … and water?January 30, 2007 at 9:38 am #115691
well, I never realIly thought about Swans… I think they are majestetic looking…but they really weren´t in my thoughts… White and water represents to me puritiy and my subconsciousness…
I have been thinking about this a lot lately…. what is it trying to tell me and why ?? So, I am off to more soul searching, smile :))March 20, 2007 at 1:53 am #116962
Swans are associated with poetry, music, seduction and love.
Another thing that I try to keep in mind is that every part of your dreams usually represents you in some form and when water is in your dream it usually has to do with your emotions.
Death in a dream is very hard to understand…It might have to do with some aspect of your instict? Or a phase or a role of your life. It can also mean a transformation is coming that one saying the old die to get ready for the new…

Not that it realates to your dream, just an interesting tidbit of information about swans and their own death. Do you know where the phrase “Swan Song” comes from? It is said (I don’t know first hand only what a music teacher told me) that swans never sing until just before dying. They sing a beautiful song and then their life is over.March 20, 2007 at 2:41 am #116970
John Holland’s radio show today was all about Dreams and how to intrepret them. The show should post in the archive in a few days. Go to www.hayhouseradio.com…I guess you don’t need to wait for the archive. It’s been rebroadcast RIGHT NOW! (Just got the chills…)
Hope that helps!

I can’t really interpret your dream but let me offer you some insight on Swan and where I might go if these were symbols in one of my dreams. She represents Grace. So the death of Swan in a dream may mean that you have lost your sense of being in Grace and you need to find some balance again. Have you lost your faith and need to regain it?
You may be struggling with something and try to force it into being. Go with the flow and practice some meditiation. Observe your surroundings – this way you will regain your Grace and once again see your Swan gliding along.
Try some grounding techniques – you may especially benefit from a sea salt water bath or working in the garden. Both are good for grounding. If you work with crystals, try carrying a white quartz crystal in your pocket.
The fact that you were shocked may mean that you really don’t think you are ungrounded or that your faith may be wobbly, but meditate on it and see what comes to light.
I dont’ think your dream is anything ominous – it mainly seems to be more of a ‘pay attention to what’s is really going on and tend to your needs’.
