Steven Simon has a book out with the top 100 inspirational movies. It goes into the theme of the movies and interpretations. Also I am a member of the Spiritual Cinema. You get a DVD with two or three moives on it a month. Sometimes they are by people you have never heard of but all have a spiritual theme to them.July 6, 2006 at 7:53 pm #106396

Tell us more….I’m a huge fan of “The Secret” and I’m telling everyone about it.
In fact, we’re about to go through some huge changes here at this site, with the help of many of our community members, and I’m suggesting everyone watch it, so we can use this opportunity to manifest some incredible things in our lives.

I just finished watching “The Secret”…….:yikes:
I’ve read a lot about manifesting before but to be honest it always seemed like nothing more than positive thinking and paying attention to your opportunities. What I just saw was so much more than that.
Thanks to those who posted about the movie and convinced me to watch it. I need to digest this a little bit more before I can begin to explain how this movie body slammed me on several different levels…..
I’ll be back …December 13, 2006 at 1:51 am #113028
Oh gosh, there are so many!!!! I love all spiritual movies….But I guess I have to say that It’s a Wonderful Life is my all time favorite. The Wizard of Oz is to me also a spiritual movie. But I’ve gotta stay with It’s a Wonderful Life!December 21, 2006 at 7:04 pm #113444
Bia10, I loved the old Audrey Rose with Anthony Hopkins and Marsha Mason. Is that the one you think was awful? I think there’s also a remake.December 25, 2006 at 6:30 am #113566
Merry Christmas to all! My favorite movie was “Dragonfly”. I think that is an absolute “Afterlife” movie! If I didn’t know and understand what I have learned from watching John Edward, his books, etc. I would have been a little freaked out by some of the incidents in the movie. Instead I was very interested in every little detail! Janie FreemanDecember 31, 2006 at 2:32 pm #113720

The Shawshank Redemption is mine. While not overtly spiritual, it’s a great movie about the strength of the human spirit and an outstanding demonstration of the only true freedom we have; the ability to choose how we react.
