This is my first posting and I’m terrified of computers, so please bare with me! Since I’ve been doing family research on computers for twenty plus years you’d think i’d be comfortable with them–not so!
However, I am so excited, I have to share. My story is in the latest issue of “Bridges”!! I wrote to John and told him about the incident and he sent me a note saying “I love your Burger King story. Submit it to he newsletter.” So I did–and there it is on page 13. It’s the story of the rose and the Burger King lady.
As soon as I come down off Cloud 9, I’ll click on all the right buttons (hopefully) and this will be on its way.:eek:January 21, 2002 at 6:46 pm #75253scrambled6Participant
Welcome!!! Don’t worry, you’ll be just fine here.
I loved that story in Bridges!!! It was a very touching moment, I am sure, for you and the lady at Burger King. Your gesture was one that she will cherish in her heart…..
What a beautiful validation on a sad day….
Take care and if you have any quesitons, feel free to ask away!
Glad you’re here!!!

I want my Bridges. :D
I finally subscribed to Bridges. I went with the 2 year. Anyone know when I can expect my first copy? I subscribed about 2 weeks ago.January 21, 2002 at 7:08 pm #75256ceceohParticipant

Riley, not sure when you’ll get it. I didn’t wait too long, (’bout a month) and they sent me the most recent issue. So you should get the one with Unicorn’s “Rose” story.
After that you get them every three months.January 21, 2002 at 8:12 pm #75259
I couldn’t take it anymore. I just ordered a two year subscription
:laff: I couldn’t take it anymore either. That is why I finally ordered mine.

;) Thank you all for the warm welcome.
My family call me a John Edward fanatic and it is so nice to be here among my peers! No offense anyone, I’m sure none of you are fanatics. Just not so sure about myself!

I don’t get Bridges (yet) but was so thrilled to read your post.
Welcome aboard by the way!

Welcome Unicorn :D
Extremely happy that you’ve found us. I loved reading your story in Bridges, I cried everytime I read it. < Good tears > My better half asked what the matter was, and I read it to him < again crying > and after, read it to my daughter.
We all cried! It’s wonderful to know that caring people are alive and well on planet earth. And that the spirits are using them to deliver roses @>—/—-
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experience with us :)

Thanks for the info on how long it takes for Bridges to come. I can’t wait to get it and read everyones stories! I, also, ordered the two year deal. Welcome to the community!

Did you frame John’s letter yet? My letter is not as sweet as yours is but it is personal just the same.
Welcome and post when the ‘spirit’ moves you…

Oh yes, John’s note is definitely framed and hung in a prominant place!
I thought about making the family bow when they walked by it. No, I’m just kidding! They probably wouldn’t do it anyway!
I’ve watched Crossong Over since it first started and it has opened up a whole new universe for me. I never felt so free before and I have John to thank for that.
Thank you all again for welcoming me t the forum.
